Good news DAWG fans… UW just made Coach Peterson the highest paid coach in the Pac 12! His assistants also received a healthy raise, which with go a long a way in keeping all this coaching talent on Montlake. The Huskies should be a top-10 team each and every year with this staff and how well they recruit their OKGs.

This game will come down to…can UW neutralize Alabama’s front seven long enough to allow Jake Browning find his receivers and can the outside linebackers contain QB Jalen Hurts?

We might see more production out of the Tight End group along with Chico McClatcher in the slot tonight against the Trojans. No doubt there will be lots of talent on the field. I can’t wait for this huge game.

Man… it was USC’s tight ends that killed us. Losing Azeem Victor was a key factor in the game. Hopefully, Beavers can continue to develop into a stud.

Are we going to see Jaylon Johnson No. 92 and Qualls No 11 sharing time at the outside linebacker position, where Joe Mathis had been playing, this weekend against the Utes?

In 1990, USC (5th in the nation) came to town for a HUGE game at Husky Stadium. The Huskies thought they were good that year, but they did not know just how good. Tomorrow the TREE comes to town being ranked 7th in the nation. The Huskies are good this year, but just how good? All the Trojans saw that day was PURPLE! Huskies won 31-0. Let’s hope the results are similar… Go Dawgs!

I don’t follow college ball as passionately as I do with the Hawks, but this UW team has got me excited. Looking good Huskies, can’t wait to watch the game tonight

Current ESPN Matchup Predictor show the Huskies have a 76.5% chance of beating Stanford and a 71.4% chance of beating Oregon. Wow! Pac 12 North is well within the Huskies reach this year.

2 more touchdowns.. 5 in two games, not bad.
Not enough receptions and receiving yards, yet, to enter Heisman talk.

Question: Will the Huskies beat the spread vs the Vandals?
    Opened at 35
    Currently at 37.5
Looks like money is flowing to the Husky side of the ledger.

UW is rated #8 by the AP this week! It’s the Huskies highest rating since 2001. The Dawgs should be able to handle the Idaho Vandals this Saturday on Montlake. Could be an awesome year!!!

I’ll agree with you on Stanford being the best. But the Cougs? Come on Tyson, you are better than that! They have always Coug it and will forever Coug it.

You see FanaticPost Power Rankings has Stanford ranked #6 and did you also notice the Cougs were not ranked. UTAH, UCLA, and USC are in the top 25. No sight of WSU hehe

Gaskin looks like a young Barry Sanders. Did you see the his touchdown that was called back? That DB for the Utes had no chance, didn’t even touch him.

UW needs to be able to control the clock and not turn the ball over to beat the UTES. I think this game could be a lower scoring game than I predicted early. I think the over/under is set at 42. I would go under for sure.

Huskies have a 5-3 record against the spread which indicates UW is playing well. Because UW went down to Palo Alto to play Stanford with their backup QB, Karta-Samuels, I think you can discard that game. What is left is a 5-2 record ATS. I think the Dawgs of Montlake win this weekend against the Utah Utes. The Washington Defense is for real, lead by Feeney, Littleton, Victor and Bierria. It can be argued that this years Husky linebacking corps is playing at a higher level than last years team that included a first round draft choice (Shaq Thompson), a second round draft choice (Kikaha) and Johnny Timu (Chicago Bears).

My prediction: UW 20 Utah 17
